Birth: I am very happy to take on birth doula clients up to around an hour's drive from my home address; that means most of West Yorkshire, and into some of the surrounding counties. Any further away than this can sometimes be problematic when it comes to being on call; even locally, it can take me up to an hour and a half to arrive once I've been called (allowing for arranging childcare, travel time, possible congestion etc). Living further apart adds to that time significantly. However, I am flexible when needs be, and I have worked further afield in the past. If you feel I am the right doula for you, and I feel that you are the right clients, then we can usually make it work. This is especially true when it comes to elective induction/caesareanbirths, as these are rather more planned than spontaneous births.
Alternatively: I do offer an antenatal/postnatal support package (ie, not attending the birth), which can be provided over greater distances via phone, text, email and video call, so this may be an option to consider if I am too far away to come to your birth.
Full-Spectrum: I offer full-spectrum services within Bradford and Leeds.
